Climate Action Now is a Toronto-based volunteer group dedicated to motivating Canadians to ACT to prevent catastrophic climate change.

Actions that we consider critical to constructive change are:

• lobbying our elected representatives on carbon pricing
• lobby to change our electoral system from first-past-the post to proportional representation (PR) - Fair Vote Canada (fairvote.ca) lobbies for PR
• encouraging home owners to improve the energy efficiency of their homes
• lobbying the municipal and provincial governments for a home owner loan program to help home owners improve the energy efficiency of their homes
• lobby for the creation of a provincial utility to encourage energy conservation
• lobby the Ontario govenment to continue with the ecoEnergy rebates for improving energy efficiency
• lobby the Ontario government to continue with its support of Transit City plan adopted by the City of Toronto and to refuse to allow the funds allocated to LRT to be used for subways
• lobby Toronto City Council not to kill Transit City
